Studies show that 1% of all buses in operation are at risk of catching fire at any given time. 80% of these fires are caused by mechanical or electrical faults in the engine compartment or transmission. Combined with flammable substances, this can lead to devastating consequences for the vehicles and passengers!

In light of this, the installation or retrofitting of fire suppression systems has been mandatory for all coaches since 2019 and for new city buses since 2020. From September 1, 2021, this obligation also extends to city buses already in operation.

We retrofit buses directly from the factory with our innovative fire suppression system.

FIRE EVO I Indirect System

The FIRE EVO I system utilizes the POWERTECH detection line for fire detection. The extinguishing process is carried out through a separate spray line equipped with special nozzles. The FIRE EVO I extinguishing agent containers are constantly under pressure, allowing for the early and immediate extinguishing of the fire at its inception. In contrast, conventional systems require additional pressurization.

FIRE EVO D Direct System

In the direct FIRE EVO D system, the POWERTECH detection line performs a dual function: it detects the fire and simultaneously initiates the extinguishing process. Similar to the FIRE EVO I, the FIRE EVO D extinguishing agent containers are always under pressure, enabling immediate fire suppression at the early stage. Conventional systems, on the other hand, require additional pressurization.
